So I had a termination in nov and since I’ve had irregular bleeding and it’s been really getting to me. They’d said there was nothing remaining so I convinced myself my womb hadn’t shrunk to what it was. Last night I stupidly put in the extra doses of Misoprostol I had in the hope my womb would go back to normal....now I’m in pain in my cervix and womb. I’ve had 3 csections. Do we think this is going to ease soon or am I doomed....help me I don’t want to go a&e as they’ll think im an idiot which I am but I was feeling desperate 😢

You need a doctor you have forced your uterus to contract and shed tissue that is going to be painful

Do we think it'll wear off soon though? It was 6pm last night x

Did you have the depo/implant after the termination? That can cause irregular bleeding. You should defo ring someone, don't be scared to tell them what happened, you need some professional advice. Sounds like you also have health anxiety that needs addressing too.

Mummyto3GBG · 26/02/2021 11:16

Yes I have severe health anxiety. I’m hoping the pain I’m feeling is more in my head. I’ve rang BPAS they’re going to ring me back. I’m hoping the Misoprostol will just wear off? Will it? I feel like such an idiot I thought it would just contract my womb down last night but it’s been ongoing this morning too 😢

Hopefully, but obviously you need medical advice to know for sure. Good to hear that you've rung bpas. I think you should throw out any medication you don't need now to avoid the temptation to doctor yourself further! Btw I have health anxiety too, so no judgement here, I sympathise with you.

Mummyto3GBG · 26/02/2021 12:35

Thank you, BPAS said she doesn’t think I’ve done damage and the meds wear off after 24hours but if I bleed or am in pain that requires painkillers then I need to go be seen. She did suggest I ring my gp anyway but I really don’t want this on my record x

I hope you are feeling more reassured.

Mummyto3GBG · 26/02/2021 13:25

Thank you, I feel really stupid but I was feeling so desperate. I feel a bit more reassured yeah, just worried about what’s going to happen from here on with my bleeding and things. My anxiety has been through the roof the last few weeks and I think I was just at breaking point xx

Hormones are probably a mess doll.

Mummyto3GBG · 26/02/2021 13:56

I no but I’m having like haemorrhage bleeds monthly, I feel like I’m going to lose my womb 😢

Have you spoken to the doctor about the bleeding? They can give you tablets to reduce the bleeding x

Mummyto3GBG · 27/02/2021 06:57

Yea I’ve got the tablets to reduce the bleeding but it’s so much, honestly it’s a full haemorrhage every month and then bleeding in between it’s not normal. I nearly need a blood transfusion every month. I honestly think I’m going to lose my womb over this 😢

Had to go hospital today as still in pain, worried I’ve ruptured my uterus, didn’t want to go as I feel like a massive idiot wasting their time but they were really nice to me which I obvs didn’t deserve. I have to keep an eye on pain and go back in if anything changes 😔
