Are you taking the tablets, rather than surgical?

You will get strong period pains. Probably best to try and keep moving around, I didn't and it just made me think about the pain. Best to take painkillers as it can get quite bad. It can take several hours to come away and will be like a heavy period. You won't really see anything, just clots and stuff. Try not to worry.

I cant quite remember it was a few hours. You will bleed for a few days, but yes by Monday you should be fine. The cramping only really lasts while you lose the pregnancy.

Readysetcake · 12/02/2021 20:02

It took about 4 hours for my cramps to start. Quicker than expected. It got quite painful but not unbearable. The pain killers helped so take them. Get yourself a hot water bottle cuddle up under a blanket. I didn’t see anything and was same stage as you. I’m three years on and don’t think about it often. I don’t regret it as I know it was the right choice but I was very sad at the time that I was in that situation and had to make that choice. So if you do feel sad, don’t automatically confuse it with regret. Sorry you’re going through this. I hope you’re ok Flowers

I hope it all goes smoothly for you. It's not a pleasant thing to do, but it is sometimes for the best.

Hope no one minds me jumping on , I can't work out how to start my own thread .....

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant we don't want to continue , I have had pain and scans for the last 2 weeks worried it was eptopic but it's not however I'm in so much pain I just want it over and it's nearly Xmas ! However every clinic I rang have been no help I cried and cried to them begging to just prescribe me the pills I'll sign anything ! I have a scan at EPU tomorrow to definitely make sure it's in the correct place and not tubal ..... Will they let me out of my misery ? I'm so uncomfortable I just want it over now and whilst my other kids are at school and before Christmas ..... Advice please 🙏🥺
