Condom failed last night. Period ended on Friday which means chances are low. Will I be okay or do I need MAP. it's going to be a ball ache to get it as in work everyday now until Boxing Day and suppose to take working 72 hours - I could try after work but would rather not

Depends on how happy you'd be to get pregnant right now. I wouldn't risk it though.

Sperm can live 5 days so definitely get it. I found it very quick via 111. Had the pill within an hour of me calling them as they sent the script to a pharmacy. If you weigh under 11 stone you can buy it over the counter but over you might need two doses which they cannot sell you. Good luck.

Thank you very much. I've just phoned a pharmacy a couple of miles away who are open until 10pm with no appointment so going to go there after work.

Superdrugs online pharmacy have it available for next day delivery if you order before 3pm. I ordered it at about 10am the morning after and it arrived around 10am the next day, so I ended up taking it about 36 hours after the event. Obviously that's still not as effective as going and getting it yourself within 12 hours, but still well within the 72 hour window and better than nothing if like me you couldn't get to a pharmacy.

@MinesAPintOfTea the 11 stone thing is something they should ask you if you are getting levonelle (not sure about Ella one). I bought over the counter as I thought I was under 11 stone but weighed myself at home and found the pandemic pounds had caught up with me. Needed a second dose for it to be fully effective but could only get that on prescription.
