Extreme anxiety

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they cope with it?
It's like the second the hormones kick in I have zero control of my mind and envisage every worst case scenario.
I have a 13 yr old so would be very much starting again, i also recall this extreme anxiety when pregnant with her.
P.s no positive test as yet but I very much feel pregnant delaying the test due to knowledge the anxiety levels will kick in

How are you feeling today? I can relate and also put off testing due to depression which always seems to come alongside pregnancy for me. The only thing that has made it better is time for me, i.e the pregnancy progressing and "accepting" it as such.

Much more rational now, other half asked me to read put each fear and we could literally quash them all.
Still not tested for fear the anxiety will take over but as soon as Christmas Day is over with extra relatives round I will.
I’m feeling much more in control of my mind, if I can keep things that way I’m winning.

How did you cope on anxious days?

That's good. To be honest I just stayed in bed for quite a lot of the time and allowed myself to feel crap, it's not the best solution but it's what I did. Good luck for the next week if you do a test
