Medical method termination positive story

I felt really frightened of having a termination after reading some of the stories so decided to share my story.
I terminated my pregnancy today at 5 weeks gestation, pills came took the first one, I had a few cramps after few hours so took some codeine then inserted the second lot of tablets at around 4.30. Laid down for 45 minutes felt some cramps and fanny daggers had some dinner and a drink.
No nausea or vomiting for me , at 6.30 pm cramps became quite painful used a hotwater bottle and watched netflix. I'm not going to lie the lie the cramps were painful passed the pregnancy sac at around 9.30 pm.

Cramps eased off after that still hurts but like a heavy period rather than very painful.
Took my some more painkillers and going to bed now it was a lot less bad than I was expecting.

I feel relieved that it's over I hope that it reassures people.

Thank you so much for sharing your positive story. Like you, I also had a medical termination at 5 weeks, a couple of months ago now, and as you have described it was like a heavy, painful period, but nothing like some of the horror stories I read about online before I went through the procedure!

Just wanted to add to your post to say that mine too was "textbook" and definitely not debilitating.

For anybody reading this seeking any reassurance for your upcoming procedure, it will be OK! 💕
