When did he find out? It’s possible that he is scared and hasn’t processed it properly yet but it’s equally possible he’s just an ass.

With my eldest her dad did this...he tried to make me have a termination but I refused. He did go to the 12 week scan but sat in the corner a bit sheepish...by 16 weeks he’d got over it and went to the gender scan and seemed to be looking more forward to it. However I don’t think he fully accepted he was going to be a dad until she was born. He didn’t support me much during the pregnancy...having said that he was brilliant at the birth and besotted with her when she arrived. We did split up a year later but that was because he was immature and not ready to settle down (and an idiot) however he still sees our daughter and I can’t imagine he regrets us having her whatsoever x

I’m in a similar position, keeping a baby which the father doesn’t want - well, he’s flipped flopped between telling me to have an abortion and then telling me not to. But ultimately I couldn’t go through with a termination, though I did intend to.

It’s a very lonely place, being pregnant in these circumstances. All I can hope is that he will come round - I’ve repeatedly offered him the ‘get out’ clause of having nothing to do with it but he says he wants to be involved.
