I have three dc and recently gone back to work. My periods had generally become more irregular, as I am now 40, and often I don’t feel ovulation pain anymore. Anyway, we had unprotected sex one night, at a time I thought it was ‘safe’, now I don’t think it was. I thought period was starting 12 days ago, started spotting, and then got heavier for next 3 days that I saw red blood in toilet. I also used a tampon on one day, but then it tailed off. This has happened before, and then it returns, a few days later, but it’s 8 days later and hasn’t. I usually have a day of proper heavy bleeding in a period. I had implantation bleeding with 1st pg, but that was much lighter. Didn’t happen with other two, or another pg I had that resulted in a Mmc. I’m just too scared to do test as I would then need to face that I could be pg with 4th baby, just when I have gone back to work.....and think financially would be hard and my age etc. Panicked
