Post misoprostol symptoms? Worried!

Hi,

I recently had a medical abortion at 5.5 weeks due to lots of personal reasons (as of Sunday afternoon) and it was an intensely painful experience for me. I won’t go into a lot of detail but the painkillers didn’t work for whatever reason and the peak of the pain lasted about 7 hours straight.

However, this all passed over the longest night of my life and I woke up feeling good. There is one lingering symptom though and that’s a lot of dizziness and lightheadedness. I’ve never had this before and I thought it was my anxiety but it’s not and I’m kind of nervous. I have no other symptoms aside from the period type bleeding and mild nausea which I’m assuming is a result of the dizziness.

I don’t know if it’s worth calling the doctor over dizziness however it’s very annoying and I was wondering if anyone else has had this symptom post misoprostol? It’s just making me a little nervous!!

Hi, did you lose a lot of blood? Light headedness can be a sign of anaemia. Hope you’re ok x

Hi, I had a medically managed miscarriage with these tablets last week...... I've also had the same symptoms and have just been signed off work for another week as they think it might be an infection/ complication of miscarriage.
I feel as rough as arseholes but they won't scan me at all 🤷‍♀️
Please look after urself and call the doctor if ur symptoms get worse x
