8 days late

Not sure if this is the right place. DH and I have been very careful each time we've had sex but my period is now 8 days late. Pregnancy tests have
been negative. Any experiences? I'm in my mid 30s and used to be irregular and my cycles are longer than average 35/36 days. By now a pregnancy test would show up right? I am freaking out.

@5longdaysago thanks for replying, it was 43 days ago. Both my other children showed up really early on so I'm at a loss as to what is going on.

I had something similar a few weeks ago my periods were very irregular until after my 2nd baby they became like clockwork until the that last one just didn't turn up at all took lots pregnancy tests all negative i then came on this month on time again

It is so strange. Has yours been regular since that one irregularity? Mine still isn't here and still negative (I always show super early) so I think mine must be the same as you and a missed period.

i've had one since but it arrived a lot later than normal and again this month i'm in day 41 but due on this weekend so we'll see

my period used to be very heavy but the last time has been a lot lighter

These cycles are so confusing! Aunt flo has finally arrived this morning for me day 46. Completely baffled but relieved.
