So I took the second set of tablets this morning orally (as advised by nurse). The note in the pack told me to only take 4 at first and then take the final 2 if you don’t start to bleed after 3 hours. I waited and had very light cramps (more like a slight discomfort) and just as I was about to take the second set of tablets I started spotting very lightly when I dabbed after going to the bathroom.
Since then, I’ve had very light bleeding/spotting and very light cramps. It feels more like a discomfort/tenderness than a period like I keep reading it should be. I have passed some microscopic clots but again they’re tiny and not even worth looking at. It’s been almost 12 hours and I’ve barely saturated a sanitary pad, it’s kind of like being on the last day of your period. Every now and then I do get a sharp little pain but when I check there’s barely any blood.
Do you think it’s possible that it hasn’t worked? I regret not taking the remaining two tablets. Can you take the remaining tablets this late on or is it not advised? Has anyone else who had a medical abortion not have a lot of bleeding?
