Pregnancy after prolapse?

I'm thinking about baby number 2 but I'm terrified of making my moderate prolapse worse (both rectocele and cystocele). I don't have any symptoms at the moment but I've heard about how bad it can be! Anyone had another pregnancy with a prolapse want to share their experience? Did your prolapse and symptoms get worse? Did you have vaginal or csection delivery? Doctors say pregnancy/delivery won't necessarily make a prolapse worse but they can't give me stats on it so I have no confidence. Confused

I had just a about everything prolapsing after my first birth, was pretty uncomfortable thanks to the cystocoele and rectocoele 😩 Then after my second vaginal birth it seemed to improve a bit! Well the symptoms did anyway, I don't think there was actually any change with my prolapse! I guess everyone is different, things that will help you in your next pregnancy and birth are staying fit, keeping your pelvic floor strong and not gaining too much weight (not that I managed any of those things 🙈) . Good luck and enjoy your next pregnancy OP

I requested an elective c-section with my second due to a traumatic first delivery and subsequent prolapse: I was persuaded to give a vaginal delivery a go and I'm very pleased that I did. I'd actually say that my prolapse l has improved slightly since the birth.
