I took the first tablet yesterday in the hospital after my scan confirmed 5 weeks. I’ve taken the second part this morning at 10am and the nurse said within 1-4 hours I should have passed the pregnancy? I was feeling sick this morning and just generally unwell, and haven’t been out of bed all morning apart from to go to the toilet a couple of hours ago and only passed light blood. Is this normal? It’s been 5 hours. I’m not having any cramps anymore. Just wondered about anyone else’s experiences 😔

Normally you would expect to pass the pregnancy pretty quickly, like the nurse said, but it can take longer. If there’s still not been any bleeding I would give the hospital a ring, they should be able to advise you on how long to wait.

Unfortunately it can take some time to pass everything completely. Give it 24 hours then ring your EPAU/GP/midwife and they can get you back to discuss further options.

I have taken tablets at around 10 and nothing really happened until about 8 that night.

If took about 12 hours for mine. I woke up in middle of night and had to dash to the bathroom. Hope you're feeling ok x
