Surgical termination -how long is the wait?

Hello ...
I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant. Contraception fail as I had a weekend away without the mini pill but stupidly thought I was safe on the dates.

I cannot have another child. Debated and debated it and for many reasons just can't.

I had a miscarriage a couple of years ago and found it traumatic, can't face a medical unless the alternative is waiting weeks.

I have the initial appointment tomorrow, any experience how long I have to wait to get the actual appointment? For a number of reasons I'm quite desperate to get it done as soon as possible.

Thank you x

At 8 weeks you qualify for surgical. Make sure you express clearly that is what you want, and they will likely book you in ASAP. Good luck, thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I had a surgical termination yesterday and it was the most comfortable experience it could’ve been, so glad I didn’t choose medical x
