Just done three pregnancy tests. All positive. We had ONE condom mishap and I took the morning after pill the next day. I know it only takes once of course but when I see all these women who desperately want a baby struggle for months and for us its just the one accident.

Certainly in no position to be having children right now, DP just took a salary cut to retrain to half his previous salary so that combined with maternity pay wouldn't even cover bills.

Hell be away on training for 80% of the year so I'd be totally alone most of the time.

I always wanted to wait until we were married.

Timing couldn't be worse and I'm focusing on my career just now.

Just having a rant because it's so unfair. And I guess it's time to go back on hormonal contraception that turns me crazy as look how condoms turned out.

Sad

So according to some online calculators, I'm only 3 weeks and 5 days which means it hasn't even implanted yet?!?!?!? The lines on the tests were so strong and my period wasn't due until tomorrow

Hi OP, you would have already implanted at 3 weeks 5 days and you can get a strong positive at that stage. But luckily it’s very, very early so you have time to think about options. I would recommend calling BPAS about what to do next. Flowers

Thanks for your reply. I don't have a BPAS clinic near me but called the local sensual health clinic who also deal with terminations who said I would have to wait another week before they would see me.

It's definitely not a good idea to have a baby right now, so glad I cottoned on so early just so frustrating that it happened right now. 6 weeks ago might have been a different story

Im sorry 😔

If you can afford it (and it is what you want) I would recommend travelling to access BPAS. The NHS process can drag out and therefore be more traumatic.
