Prolonged menstrual cycle after abortion

Hi everyone,

I've had a medical abortion on 12th Apr and after that i bleed for two weeks. After that my menstrual cycle started on 13th of May, started very light till now I'm passing little blood clots!! I'm a bit confused is it normal to have longer period after abortion or something wrong???

Your period will still be returning back to normal so the length/flow may be different. If you're in any pain or you're just generally worried, make an appointment with your GP Thanks
