Abortion

I know I will probably get loads of hate for this but I feel safe talking about this here.

I have one DD who is 9 and I'm currently in a relationship of 5 years. Im 34.
Today I found out I'm pregnant, at a guess I'm around 4-6 weeks maybe. Contraception failed which has led me here.

I have Fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression and I really don't think having a baby will be the best thing for any of us. My health is absolutely awful and I'm 100% sure my body will not cope well with pregnancy- the sickness is hideous already like something I've never experienced before despite my first pregnancy being horrendous!!
There's also financial/housing/life style reasons why I can not have this baby.
I've always said I didn't want any more and we're happy with having just one child.
I'm contacting my doctor tomorrow to talk about an abortion, I'm hoping to take the pill rather than a surgical procedure.
Has anyone else done this for similar reasons? What is recovery time like? How long was it until you were back to normal? Where you allowed to drive afterwards? When was the earliest you was allowed to travel (abroad)?

Hi, I have recently has an abortion. If you are under 10 weeks you will be offered the pill method. As a word of warning it is very painful and I advise taking strong prescribed medication given to you before you taken the second treatment. The pills do help get rid of the pain but I couldn't keep mine down hense my awful experience. If you do manage to keep them down I am assuming you will basically feel nothing other than light period pains. The bleeding will be very heavy but only for a few hours and is manageable in your own home. I advise staying home for your comfort. I can only assume having the abortion early will be more manageable and comfortable.
I was back to my normal self the day after I took the second dose of medication, so I am sure you will be too. Only you can decide whether abortion is the right method for you. In my experience, I feel a little guilty, but mostly happy as I am young. I do think this was the best option for me. Good luck with your decision, treatment, and recovery.

Thank you for your replies.
I have a medical booked for next Wednesday. It's definitely some thing I have to go through with for so many reasons.
Just hope I'm able to fly 10 days after.

Can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to fly. Then pain should have subsided by then and the bleeding should be light Flowers
