I've name changed for this.
I am 7 weeks pregnant at the moment. I am currently going through BPAS for a medical termination which will likely be at around 9 weeks (I'll get a date once my consultation is done)
For reasons I don't want to go into, I am hoping OH thinks this is just another miscarriage (I've had many between 6-8 weeks). My only two close enough friends who I could confide in are both going through serious problems TTC, one of whom is now suffering anxiety and depression as a result, so I don't feel I can ask them to help me. My mum lives 2 hours away and her being here would raise suspicions.
I have a just turned 2 year old and a 4 year old (in Reception class).
Is it completely unrealistic to think I can do this alone? I'll be able to take the second pill (to start contractions) once I'm home. I've had precipitate labours with no pain relief, one of which with older DD at home (so I was quite controlled), so I feel like I'm quite good at pain management, but I don't know if termination pain is similar to MC or labour... I'm sure I could arrange for DD1 to go to a friend's house after school if I'm really struggling.
Does anyone have any experience with BPAS about how long you were at the clinic for? I'm hoping to take DD2 with me for the first appointment, and bring snacks, drawing, books etc to keep her busy. She's pretty good usually.
Is this completely not doable?
