Abortion dilemma

I'm posting on behalf of a friend, needing some advice. She's booked in for a surgical abortion in a weeks time however she has no childcare for her existing 2 year old ds, also no one to take her to and from the hospital after. I live about 45 mins away and I don't drive so I'm usless to her, does anyone have any advice on what she could do

Can she pay for a child minder for the day? I know it can be expensive but just for a day shouldn't be too bad xx

Can you take a bus to her, watch her 2 year old, and then she could get a cab?
