TMI warning! 3 days post termination, need advice asap

I know you're not Drs but I'd like advice before jumping the gun and phoning nhs. I am 3 days post termination, I chose the tablets and discharge home option. But in the last hour I have lost 12 clots, some big enough to fit in my hand. I am soaking through underwear and scared to get off the toilet as it's just flowing out. Does this sound relatively normal?
I feel really weak, shaky and frankly fecking terrified.

I'm not surprised you're terrified. I never had the tablets so I don't know if it's normal, but 111 might be an idea to talk you through what's happening? Take care x

No that doesn’t sound normal. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks which went a similar way and t was incredibly serious, I needed a large blood transfusion and a hospital stay afterwards. Do call and say how much blood you’re losing. I too couldn’t get off the loo and was soaking through a pad in minutes

I have had two medically managed missed miscarriages, which is the same medication and process.

The guidance in the booklet I was given says to call for advice if;

• heavy bleeding that soaks through 2 sanitary pads an hour, for 2 hours or more in a row
• abdominal pain or discomfort that is not helped by medication, rest, a hot water bottle, or a heating pad
• a fever of 38°C or higher
• an unpleasant-smelling discharge from your vagina
• signs that you are still pregnant
• no bleeding 24 hours after using misoprostol

Of any of those apply, I'd call 111.

I'm on the phone to nhs now, I put a fresh pad on after making this post and it's soaked through with clots Sad

I’d you are unsure call 111, paramedics came to access me during a miscarriage, I passed out and woke up on bloods and a drip, they were amazing and 12 hours later I was home

It sounds like you need to see a doctor. I hope you got some help from 111.

Just had a big clot, almost the size of a pad.
Nhs24 want me to go to a&e but I'm in no fit state

Call an ambulance, it's not a waste of their time to get you safely to hospital in your condition.

Sounds like you are haemorrhaging, I had the same happen to me. If you cant get yourself there, phone an ambulance.It's really scary, sending you love

Agree that is much more bleeding than is normal. Do you ha e someone to take you to A&E? You need a scan straight away.

I've had this, call an ambulance. You're haemorrhaging. It's terrifying I know, I hope you're getting help now op

Thank you everyone, I am still in hospital. I've had about 60ml of products removed from me, waiting on a scan hopefully won't be long.
Thank you for advising me to get myself seen, genuinely. Had I not posted I'd have just carried on and done nothing Blush thank you all xx

I have my partner at home but he needs to go back to work. We also have 3 young children, another reason for the termination in the first place.
The bleeding has subsided but I've woken up in tremendous pain Sad all over my hips, a constant aching sharp pain. My daughter's 2nd birthday this weekend so I just wanna be better for her

If it’s waking you at that time of the morning your obviously in severe pain. What pain control are they giving you? Not sure whether you’re still in hospital or at home. If the former, you must let them know just how much pain you’re in (your original post suggests you don’t like to make a fuss). If the latter, don’t hesitate to request an home visit from your GP. Your circumstances are exactly what they’re intended for. Dont put added pressure on yourself: any weekend will do when you’re 2 😁.
