Hi all, after finding out I am pregnant at 8weeks, I decided it best to to terminate the oregnabcy. After waiting 4 and a half weeks for an appointment I’ve been told they are not able to perform the procedure under general anaesthetic (which I opted for) two days before scheduled appointment. Unfortunately I have no one to accompany me, so will be opting for local anaesthetic. Does anybody have any advice or stories on having the procedure done? Positive or negative. I'd rather go in with some sort of idea as to what may happen!

Think im used to getting by now.,.. anyway i was unable to have the procedure due to anemia. I was given an appointment in London for the 13th of june, almost 10 weeks later! By then I’ll be almost half way through the pregnancy. Given the circumstances of conception i was sure this was the right choice, but now have decided to continue the pregnancy and am looking into adoption.

Thanks for your reply! 😊
