Early scan first pregnancy?

Same as title. New and first pregnancy. Worried because I have zero symptoms. Doctor confirmed over 5ish weeks and I don't have a dating scan until another month and 2 weeks which will make me 14 weeks. Feel like I'm going crazy because physically I have nothing to prove that I'm still pregnant apart from sore breasts at times but that's it. I'm worrying like crazy! Just wondered if anyone else went to a private clinic before their actual midwife dating scan?

Congratulations! I was similar in my first pregnancy, no symptoms at all really, I should of had shares in tests the amount I did! With my second and subsequent pregnancies I paid for a sca when I was about 8 weeks just for peace of mind, with DD I had a MC the month before so was scanned at my EPU.

If you can afford it and it makes you feel more reassured id say its money well spent

I'm 30 weeks pregnant today and didn't experience one symptom besides tiredness in my first trimester, it's simply not true that l these horrible things happen in pregnancy.

I had an early scan at 9 weeks, which we saw a little blob on the screen and heard the heartbeat. It was nice and put my mind at ease but thinking about it now, not sure it was worth £80!

Thanks so much for your replied. Had a scan today and all was looking great. Definitely worth the money for peace of mind!
