So I found out I’m pregnant at the weekend and should be just over 4 weeks, totally unplanned. I’m thinking of an abortion and want to hopefully get it done soon but wondering if you have to wait until you are a bit further along so they can see something on a scan?
I read about people having to come bk when they are 6+ weeks when the fetus could be found. I tried ringing BPAS today but could get through so will I try and speak to them tomorrow.

Hi I'm currently in the same situation. Did you have to wait?

I had an abortion 3 years ago. I took a pregnancy test said positive, went to the doctors to confirm and told them I was thinking of an abortion. They referred me to the hospital where I had a scan done to see how far a long I was. I then had to see a nurse/ counsellor to speak to about the process and the reasons for it and she booked it in. I had missed 1 period but when they did the scan I was further along than I thought.
