Abortion after 12 weeks

Has anyone had a surgical abortion after 12 weeks? What was it like?

Hi I ended up having one at 13 weeks and physically it was fine. Unpleasant but bearable. I had conscious sedation and it felt like period pain during and after. HTH xx

I had one at 14 weeks. It was fine although I ended up with an infection which is more of a risk the further along in a pregnancy you are
