Depo injection

I stopped having the injection on the 7th Nov after about 12 months of having it. But haven't had a period or anything since coming off. Is this normal? I know it can take a long time to conceive after the depo but how long is a long time? Anyones experiences of this welcome

I came off in Jan 17 and got my first period in Nov. They say it can take 18 months to 2 years to totally get out of your system

I think the critical word in that sentence is "can".

It might take 18 months, but if you are not ready to be pregnant just yet you should use condoms or similar in the meantime.
