I have just found out that I am roughly 5/6 weeks pregnant. I have a huge concern as this baby was not planned. I have been taking large amounts of codine for a back complaint for the last 3 months coincidently a couple of weeks ago I ran out and being xmas I haven’t had chance to get anymore from the doc so I switched to naproxen for a couple of days until I missed my periods and I have stopped completely - just using paracetamol. I am worried that I have caused damage to the baby and that it may have birth defects due to using it for so long prior conception and on around the time of conception. Anyone have any ideas if there maybe any potential risks caused to the feotus??
