Pregnancy after multiple abortions?

I am looking for some good positive stories of women that have become pregnant and had a baby to full term following multiple abortions (2-5). I have recently had one myself and just looking for some hope I guess. Apologies in advance if I offend anyone.

One of my friends was in your shoes, she had no trouble conceiving and carrying her children to term, no issues. :)

One of my partner's cousins has had two abortions. She had DC1, then an abortion, then DC2, then an abortion, and then DC3. So the abortions she has had have not affected her fertility.
One of my friends has had one abortion after having 2 children, and then 6 months later fell pregnant with her DC3.

I've had one abortion and I hope it hasn't affected my fertility because I don't want to rule it out in the future. So I am keen to hear these positive stories too! Hope you're doing ok OPFlowers

Topaz that's bonkers about your partners cousin, has she not worked out how not to get pregnant yet?

Oh i misread, thought she'd had 4 abortions.

Shouldn’t make any difference any which way.

That you’ve conceived, means you have as good a chance as any to carry the baby to term as any. Some complications associated with abortions result in scarring - but you probably don’t have that if you conceived

I’ve got pregnant twice in the past VERY easily (one missed pill!) The second time, I had a surgical abortion and I have now been trying for a baby for 13 months with no luck and the problem looks like it could be scarring. So I’m going to say that actually, it is entirely possible for an abortion to affect your fertility but only if it’s surgical. A medical one shouldn’t have any effect

Generally speaking, having had an abortion counts as a positive in fertility consultations - because it shows you have been fertile. A straightforward abortion - or even several - does not affect your fertility UNLESS there were complications (like an infection). So unless you have specific reason to worry, I wouldn't.
