Unplanned pregnancy

I have 2 DC, one just started school the other is 2. I have recently received a promotion and large pay rise at work, just taken up a sporting hobby and beginning to enjoy time to myself again. I have this evening found out I am pregnant. Complete contraception failure so totally unplanned. I am in shock and don’t know what to do. Sorry I needed to tell someone, my partner, parents, friends, colleagues are going to be so disappointed

Many people have abortions when contraception fails and there is no harm in that. Many people also have 3 children and there is equally no harm in that.

Do whatever you want to do. You don't have to mention it to anyone you know until you decide, that way they can't affect your decision.

Why would they be so disappointed? It’s a baby! I wouldn’t and don’t care how many babies my friends have. Every single one is a blessing. If YOU want to have an abortion because you feel this isn’t right for you then you make that decision but I wouldn’t make it based on how you feel others may react. I would be really sad if this was how all of these people around you reacted and you received no support whatsoever. Some people do not want three kids and some people do. It also might not be the right timing for you but please make the decision for you and not other people. Best of luck
