How long to get an appointment?

Facing some difficult choices st the moment.

I know it’s probably a how long is a piece of string question, but typically, how long from going to the doctors to request a termination to actually having it? Would hopefully be a medical procedure, but I guess I’m just wondering how much time I have. Is it a couple of days or a couple of weeks?

Sorry for rambling. Sad

Do you even need to go to the doctor? I just phoned bpas and got my consultation booked and the appointment followed a few days later. They even asked if I wanted to inform my gp or not. Boas had appointments quite locally to me within 10-14 days.

I had one. I’m in Scotland.
I visited the doctor as soon as I found out and it took 2-3 weeks. I had to have two scans as the pregnancy was so early the first scan couldn’t confirm where the pregnancy was.
The idea of waiting around is hellish. It was worse than the process itself (which was terrifyingly uneventful!!!)
