I don't even know where to post this and I'm all so new.
Please don't judge! The description may be a little gruesome and graphic so look away now.

I've just turned 21 and found out I was pregnant straight after a miscarriage of an unexpected pregnancy which I was planning to keep.

It was long after losing my baby at 14 weeks that I found myself pregnant again. I didn't believe it and was in absolute denial about the whole thing. How could I have fallen pregnant again when I just lost my baby?!

I must admit that I am severely depressed to the point where I have attempted to seriously hurt myself and end my life but enough of the pity. This pregnancy dating at 7 weeks 5 days was the most horrific as I had the most severe form of morning sickness which resulted me on being on a drip and losing weight( I'm was 53 kh and 5'3 but by the end of 9 days of sickness I was 51.5). Within good reason, and the very hot and cold reassurance from my partner I decided that I was going to end it.

On Friday, I took the simultaneous method of medical abortion at Mary Stopes. I wanted this to be over and done with and opted for this method as I thought it would save time. Spending 30 minutes at the clinic, taking 10 tablets in total- 1 to stop the pregnancy, 4 to Induce the pregnancy, 2 for pain relief, 1 for sickness and then 4 antibiotics to be taken at home.

I was sent home. For the first 3 hours I had nothing, but slight cramps. At 3.30 I started my belly turning a little and felt that I started bleeding but this was accompanied with light cramping. At 5 I had some bleeding of dark red but no visible clots or tissue. Around 7 the pain was settled but I wasn't bleeding as I expected. At 10 I had some light cramps against with some bleeding but nothing between 7 till the next morning which made me change my pad thinking it was full.

It's now Saturday and the bleeding was lighter than my normal periods which are heavy. There was no clots and I felt perfectly fine. At around 6pm having spent the day outside I felt something come out but it wasn't the pregnancy just a little blood.

Having come home at 10 I went toilet to check myself. The pad wasn't full but it wasn't empty with only one clot and something the length of my baby finger which looked like tissue but was certain wasn't the sac. I wasn't sure if it was the placenta.

The bleeding since last night till now has stopped with blood when I wipe. There is no pain and I don't feel like have passed my pregnancy.

I feel as though the medical procedure failed.

Help!!!!!! I have called Marie stopes booking an appointment me today for Friday but this time it may be surgical. If that is the case and I haven't lost my pregnancy completely, then I don't know if it'll will be safe to continue the pregnancy or not.

Any advice on what I might have seen? Or whether I did pass the placenta and that the baby was too small to even notice making the medical abortion successful.

I'm just confused 😔

This is all very early stages I guess, if u start heavy bleeding go to ur A&E. I think every woman is different. so sorry to hear your having a bad time, u are not alone, please dont hurt yourself, you should go to ur gp and talk with them about ur emotions and what you have suffered. Get yourself better physcially and emotionally, if ur worried about ur bleeding or not passing the pregnancy try visiting an EPU (early pregnancy unit) I am sure they will help. Wishing you the best.
