To go through it again

Please don't have a go. 4months ago I had a termination my youngest was only 7months at the time.
Fast forward to today and I have a slight positive line on a cheap test. This has shocked me as we have had sex once (two weeks ago) since the termination.
Can I go through it all again. Do I need to tell him? Please help me out here.

Do you want another termination? How do you feel about the possibility of having a baby?

By the way, slight positive might just be a chemical pregnancy so you might yet not be pregnant.

Could it be left overs from the termination? Have you had a negative since that?

Thank you all for your advice. We used condoms I am booked in this week for the coil to be fitted. 100% don't want another child.
I don't want to go through what I did before but feel like it's the only way.

You poor thing. Do you have another test? Maybe test again tmwr? I am sorry you are going through this.

Did the condom burst? Are you sure it wasn't a vapor line (or whatever it's called)? Either way they'll test before you have the coil fitted, but do remember that you have to abstain from unprotected sex before you have it fitted.

It's going to sound daft i only took the test because we had sex 2 weeks ago and the condom had a slight leek. I am so scared.

I hope its negative. It would be incredibly unlucky to be pregnant again.

Hi I have taken a Superdrug test today and this one says negative but still no period. I really don't know what to do.

Penguin I took a pregnancy test on a Tuesday which was positive, despite having a Mirena coil in place. I can't explain why I took it, I just felt weird, bit hormonal and boobs were aching. Took another 2 on Sat which were both negative. False positives are very rare, but they do happen. Maybe take another test in a few days and if it's positive, book a GP appt. Given that you've only recently had a termination, I'm sure they could send you for a blood test to confirm or rule out HCG in your blood.
