My name is Shaunagh Connaire and I’m originally from County Longford. I’m now working for Channel 4 in the UK and I'd like to reach out to potential contributors for an upcoming film I’m working on about Ireland’s abortion laws.
This is a documentary about the battle over whether to repeal the constitutional ban on abortion in Ireland, and to change Northern Ireland’s abortion laws so they are in-line with the rest of the UK. It will feature voices from opposing sides of the issue, and the experiences of women whose lives are directly affected by the laws.
As part of the research for the documentary, I’d like to hear from as many women as possible about their experiences. My team and I fully respect some people will want to remain anonymous when speaking to me and I’d value all contributions.
If you’d like to get in touch, you can reach me on [email protected] Thank you very much.
