Will I have a choice?

Have name changed for this post.

I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant and for reasons I don't want to go into, I have made the difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy.

My first appointment is next Thursday and I'm unsure of what to expect. Will I be given a choice between medical and surgical or will I be forced into medical due to how early on I am?

The thought of medical terrifies me and I'd much rather the surgical option.

Can anyone with any experience help?

I think that surgical can only be done from 7 weeks but I may be wrong so you can ask at the clinic . You won't be forced into medical if it's a case of waiting one more week for the surgical option then you will be free to do that.
Good luck Flowers

Fwiw, I have just had the medical termination at 7 weeks and it was absolutely fine. Don't read the horror stories. Good luck.

Thank you.
To be fair, with the medical option, it could be over by a week Saturday as that's when I'd go back for the second tablets.
