medical termination yesterday - not much bleeding?

I had second part of medical termination yesterday , and after having about 6 hours of horrendous cramps and contraction like pain, diarrhoea and vomiting (as I expected) this stopped suddenly and an hour later I started to bleed (around 9pm last night) I've since had fairly normal bleeding (like a normal period) no more pain, and no passing of clots. This wasn't what I was expecting- was told to expect really heavy bleeding, passing of clots etc. I'm worried it's not worked - anyone else had this kind of experience please? Am so worried??

Hi, do keep an eye on it, it could still start heavily as was only yesterday. If not within 3 days call the clinic and ask for advice.

I don't want to worry you, but I had similar although sounds like I bled more. When I tested after 3 weeks I was still positive. I wasn't pg but I had remaining tissue. So backwards and forwards to doctors, epu, 2 lots of extra pills, 4 internal scans and I still had remaining tissue and finally almost 10 wks after our trip to the clinic I had to have a general and have a d&c. Which is exactly why I did take the pill, I wanted to do everything I could to avoid an op - I ended up having to do it though.

I really hope all is ok for you, I don't want to sound the voice of doom! But like I said, do keep an eye on it. How far gone were you? And I'm sorry you going through this. I'm sure people will come along with more positive stories

Myermay1 I was just 6 weeks. Pain yesterday was awful ( had dad's via cs so don't have any experience of labour) but can only describe it as contractions. I wondered whether I could have passed the pregnancy without noticing as it was so early?
