Abnormalities on scan

Please can anyone help me. My husband has a unilateral cleft lip and small palate. On our first scan it was diagnosed that baby had a cleft lip several scans later it has been found that baby has bilateral cleft lip and palate and unilateral talipes. I am only 16 weeks so the heart has been unable to be checked properly. Upto now everything is looking normal. We were told the baby now may have a chromosomal abnormality, possibly Edwards or pateau syndrome. So we opted for amniocentitis and are waiting on results. We are devastated we are hoping that the cleft was just unfortunately passed on through my husbands genes and the club foot is unluckily random. Does anyone have any knowledge or previous diagnosis of these 2 abnormalities ? Thankyou

Only spotted this - both my kids had clefts, their cousin had talipes. None of them had any related syndromes they just seem linked somehow, maybe growing around the same time.

Hope you get the info you need, feel free to PM me if you wish.
