Ok so I read that paracetamol is ok in pregnancy but how much?

I ask as I have a wisdom tooth causing me a lot of grief at the moment! I hope it doesn't last long but how many pills should I be popping? I feel really guilty as am already on piriton most days too...

My GP told me that it was fine to take according to the regular packet instructions.

In fact, I was prescribed some whacking strong cocodamol for SPD so can't be too bad.

Ditto, paracetamol as normal is what I was told.

Hevster · 09/07/2010 18:09

yeah paracetamol, up to 8 a day and no more than 2 at 4 hourly intervals

Oh brilliant I've only needed a couple a day so far.... thank you!

I don't know why I'm so paranoid, maybe I'm reading too much!?

I soooooooo wanted baked camembert and a spritzer tonight, why didn't I just go for it?? The world has gone mad and taken me with it I think....

Just make sure it's plain paracetamol or Panadol, not the stuff with caffeine added (because then you have to stay under the pregnancy caffeine limits as well).

ah thank you, yeah i've just got the basic 28p type stuff
