I am obsessed with changing bags, I love them. I had a Pink Lining Yummy Mummy one last time, and although I'm only 5 weeks pregnant I'm already salivating over the thought of getting to buy a new one. I know I should be thinking about far more important things, but changing bags really do it for me!!!

(not that I'd buy one now, wouldn't get anything before 20 weeks scan)

Any suggestions?

I'm leaning towards getting the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe as I want practical (wipeable, outside pockets, magnetic tab, clips to go on pram) but not boring.

free one from Boots

Or a rucksack!

MrsC2010 · 09/07/2010 18:00

The necessary bits in my handbag. And she'll be my first, does that make me weird?!

Rindercella · 09/07/2010 18:04

Any Storksak

Good luck with the pregnancy

I have this one, but can't recommend it as I haven't used it yet, but looks very good and I don't really like handbags so this was ideal for me.

I was obsessed too until I found out just how heavy some of them are. Despite my husband offering to buy any bag I fancied, I ended up with a cheap £29 one from Toys R Us. Really light, lots of pouches, changing mat and cool bit for the bottle!

I have just got a Pacapod Sedona in black, am in love with it.

I'm the same obsessed with changing bags too

GeekOfTheWeek · 09/07/2010 20:00

Op I am exactly the same.

I have a ju ju be, a ym and a skip hop at the minute.

Hate the skip hop (duo deluxe) with a passion. Its not femimine at all and doesn't fit a lot in.

Ju ju be really nice, loads of pockets and looks gorgeous. Huge range of styles and colour schemes too.

Pink lining, blooming gorgeous bag. Love it. Its perfect, nice looking and stores loads. My favourite.

StainlessSteelCat · 09/07/2010 20:00

I have a Pacapod and use it loads. Though I also just chuck spare nappy and wipes in the buggy if I'm not out for long!

5MoreMinutesPlease · 09/07/2010 20:10

i am just at how much these all are!

i use a primark bag!

PaulineCampbellJones · 09/07/2010 20:52

I hate my skiphop bag with a passion. It has worn really badly and not enough room but it does fit well round the quinny pram.
Have got a gorgeous Anya Hindmarch which is a nappy bag but can also fit my stuff in.

sarahscot · 09/07/2010 21:00

Thanks everyone! Not looked at the link yet but am excited to do so!!

Can't believe some of you don't have proper changing bags - you're missing out on so much fun !

I have this one by Tiny Tillia and it's brilliant, really functional and unusual looking.

randomimposter · 09/07/2010 21:01

I got a Bugaboo one (as I had the chameleon buggy and thought why not). It was RUBBISH. Gave it away.

So I got a Pacapod sling bag. LOVE it. Loved the 2 inner pod bags. Useful now as a rucksack now DS 2 and whizzes off on his scooter and I can be hands free to shepherd him when needed.

But I also used a magazine freebie Cath Kidston plastic zip envelope pouch a lot of the time chucked under the buggy. Room for a couple of nappies, bags, wipes, change mat and cream/gel etc. Simple.

sarahscot · 09/07/2010 21:08

ooh, looked now. I love love love the Lin & Leo ones. Think it'll be between one of them and a new Pink Lining one.

I got a £35 one to begin with but I carry lots of muslins and meds (dd has reflux) and the design was bad - too many pockets meant lots of wasted space inside and the zip burst, so I got one from Kiddicare for £4.95 and it's brilliant. Most people I know have the free Boots one and seem to fit a lot more in theirs than I got in my expensive one.

thisisyesterday · 09/07/2010 22:59

i had about 3, and then i got an allerhand

i LOVE it.

TheNextMrsDepp · 09/07/2010 23:03

You are lucky, ten years ago the choices were all ghastly quilted things with elephants or teddies emblazoned on the side. I just used a nice backpack and filled it with my own bits and pieces.

I saved my money for a PROPER handbag, which I treated myself to when I no longer had to lug half a ton of baby clobber around.

LauraKB · 10/07/2010 08:57

Radley do changing bags now, and I would have loved one of these but they didn't do them when I got mine. I though about getting one but they don't match the buggy, lol.

I've got a mothercare messenger bag which is great and really spacious but quite heavy.

Flossie69 · 10/07/2010 09:58

I've got the Tiny Tilllia one that stressheaderic has too - I couldn't resist those pink tulips! I use it was a handbag too, to save me carrying more than one bag. I particularly like the elastic thingy you can attach your keys to!
