Southampton scan - will they tell you the sex here?

They wouldn't in Reading for dd but they would in Salisbury for ds ..... dying to know what this one is but don't want to get my hopes up of knowing if they won't tell you down here!

I think they do, as a friend of mine had her first scan in Bournemouth and they wouldn't tell her, but she was offered the chance to go to Southampton if she paid ( because it wasn't her area?) and they would tell her.

I'm not sure if this was because she needed to know (long story, she lived abroad at the time, and it was to do with passports for baby.) or not.

So really not muhch help!!

I think they do tell you in Southampton... It says in big letters in B'mth and Poole that they don't, but I had a feeling Soton was ok.
