NCT course clash - advice please

Hi

We're booked onto a NCT class that runs over 3 x half days and then a women only morning. I'm also going to do a hypnobirthing course. The main reason for the NCT course is to meet other women having kids around the same time as me.

However, I messed up and there's a big clash with an important family occasion; actually the occasion runs over two weekends, both on the second and third half days.

I reckon I can shave an hour off the second course and make the family event - but would it be terrible to miss the third half day. Will I miss out on a lot? There were so few courses to choose from and I don't want to miss important stuff. That said, I've hurt my family my getting this wrong and that's never good.

Thanks

I would think it would be okay - I think most people go along to NCT hoping to meet some nice people that they can bond with and to discuss babies endlessly (well I am now into discussing toddlers amongst nearly every other topic nearly 3 years on). I sure they can fill you in on what you will miss.

I think NCT is well worth doing - also hypnobirthing anything for less pain!

Good luck

As it's only 3 sessions, I think you would miss quite a lot.

Couldn't you move onto a different NCT course?

Have you e-mailed to ask what is going to be covered at each session?
