lubrication suitable for ttc ?

hey has anyone tried pre-seed ? or any other lube that says its okay for ttc ? posted in conception but thought here would be useful too.

Just wondering as its 17.99 a tube which is quite expensive, but apparently sperm can't swim past normal lube, lazy little **!!!

I used (a little) normal KY and still got pregnant.... personally I wouldn't waste money on preseed etc unless I had been trying for a while.

I used pre-seed and got pregnant first go. Not sure if it was the pre-seed but it seemed to help! I just ordered it online. I don't think it was as much as £18 though.

I got pregnant using normal stuff.

I used preseed, worked 1st time for me.

I used Zestica from agnostics was cheaper than pre-seed as newer and had free delivery, seemed to have worked for me.

That was meant to say access diagnostics sorry.

Should say had been trying for over 2 years and it didn't work straight away for me, and still can't say it was definatly that, that led to me being pregnant now. Just seemed to make me moist enough that's all I can be sure about.

We conceived using Conceive Plus

If you want a cheap alternative then use raw egg white- apparently it is very nourishing for the spermatozas and I conceived DC2 using it!

I used Pre-seed and also some other one also suitable for TTC from Access diagnaostics. Not cheap, though this site is well priced (great prices on LH ovulation test strips and preg test strips too).

Although plenty of people get preg using KY or similar, it really does reduce your chances, I read a number of studies about the effects of these lubes on sperm motility - one study showed KY is almost as effective as spermicide at killing sperm !

Dunno if i fancy my DP cracking an egg on my (whistle)...
Since ive red that lubes can kill sperm ive stopped using any...

ah thanks ladies, think I might wait to splash out on the old pre-seed, see what happens. We have only just started trying but the last time it took about 8mths TTC, although it was with my exP so hopefully will be different with DP

i fell pregnant first time i used preseed after a MMC (sadly ended in ectopic) and second month i used it after ectopic - am now 31wks!!!! i always extoll the virtues of Preseed!

go for it.

Much cheaper than 17.99 on amazon tho?
