maybe giving birth in france- any advice?

Does know anyone who gave birth in France but was not resident in France? I might be there when the time comes and want to know any advice, costs. I'm 32 weeks and am breech at the moment- little minx. Might have to cough up for c-section-any idea of costs would be really appreciated. grin

get your card thing from post office that entitles you to free medical treatment in europe

and enjoy .. I believe french are far more civilised in terms of hospital care

It may not be completely free though - E111 only covers emergency treatment including pregnancy related so probably wouldn't run to an elective c-section.
