Can I eat halls soothers or lockets? Sore throat

Are sore throat sweeties safe - halls soothers or lockets, that kind of thing? I have a sore throat, but not sure if I can have these? Can't find it in my book. Thanks

Look at the ingredient list - I am fairly sure it's just sugar, a bit of menthol, some honey maybe....

I wouldn't think twice about taking them - even the ones with local anaesthetic in them, if needed. And I don't think I'm generally a reckless individual

Yes definately to the soothers had an awful sore throat and cold last week. Went to boots and they said gargle tcp and eat soothers. Not sure about the more medical ones like strepsils but i think the soothers and lockets are pretty much just sweets.
