and noticed that some fluid is coming out!!

Am 38 weeks and completely done with this pregnancy. Had to have a CTG this AM as baby movements have been reducing and I really don't need the stress (especially as I have already been through a stillbirth ).

So decided to try nipple stimulation and voila, looks like first milk is coming through as have never had any leakage until now!! It's actually quite boring and can get a sore if not done correctly as I have found out.

Anyone else tried this with any success??

Don't worry, it's not proper milk - that needs the placenta coming away from the uterus (to trigger it).

I think to trigger labour you have to be really aggressive with the nipple stimulation, and keep doing it every couple of hours for several days to get the effect (it will encourage uterine cramping which MAY trigger labour). I've not tried it, but I have read about it.

You could try combining it with a long daily walk, and curry!
