Sweep at 38 weeks - what are my chances

Im currently 37+5 and have a routine MW appt tomorrow. Ive been off work since 28 weeks because of chronic SPD and have been having growth scans galore as Im now measuring 46 cm and an increase in the amniotic levels.
I know a sweep wont necessary start things off but Ive been having lots of contractions on and off just wondering if anyone has asked for a sweep and been given it?
I feel like a real woss but this is pg4 and I only saw the MW 4 times with DC3 and sailed through but so far Ive had 9 scans and loads of appts just soo fed up and worried that if it carrys on my back / pelvis will take ages to get back to normal.
Thanks

You won't be given one at 38 weeks. No way. I had to wait til 41 weeks for mine, and they would not consider it any sooner.

41 wks just for a sweep God I managed to get induced on my due date with DD1 because of the spd and she's only 5!

Your trust must be more generous than mine. I had terrible SPD with both of mine. I waited til 41 weeks with both for a sweep and only got induced with the first at 41+4

thats horrible Ive known a few induced earlier than that. I was only posting after I saw another OP make the 41wk comment. Ive been hanging my hopes on this appt.
