that's it really...just wondering whether most people find it goes at 12 weeks?

Mine didn't, I vomited up to the moment I was anaesthetised for my CS , I wasnt' too fussed TBH, someone told me it was a good sign that the baby was well bedded in. I spewed at least twice a day for 37 weeks.

japhrimel · 03/07/2010 10:53

My 24/7 sickness eased gradually at 12-14 weeks. Now I just throw up if I gag (e.g. when brushing my teeth) or there's a yucky smell or sight.

berrycravings · 03/07/2010 10:55

Mine stopped being every morning at 12 weeks, and the nausea stopped for good then too. However like japhrimel said if I gag I still throw up, but now the nausea has gone its not really a problem in the same way.
Hope it stops soon for you

igosentriq · 03/07/2010 12:13

12-13 weeks. Felt properly back to normal (no nausea unless I forgot to eat) at 16 weeks.

RunningGuerita · 03/07/2010 13:55

4.5 months.... But it was afternoon sickness for me, more nausea than anything else.

mejon · 03/07/2010 14:06

I'm 12 weeks today and feeling much better. I had all day nausea without actually being sick apart from when I gagged when brushing my teeth. Hoping its gone for good!

babysplotface · 03/07/2010 14:15

15 weeks both pregnancies (DS and DD)

FlyingMonkey · 03/07/2010 14:31

14 weeks last time. I'm hoping it will be earlier this time around! I'm 7 weeks and fed up of the morning sickness already.

Rocklover · 03/07/2010 14:48

I'm around 10 weeks and mine is easing up already. I am not happy about this because of the amount of spotting i've had. I just wonder if it's normal for it to ease up this early.

mummytosquidgies · 03/07/2010 22:50

With DS1 I had morning sickness until about 12/13 weeks, it wasn't too bad at all.

With this one I had all day sickness until about 16/17 weeks, and still have days where I feel sick all day now (32 weeks).

Rocklover I would just consider yourself lucky and enjoy the fact the morning sickness is easing off already! Some people don't get morning sickness at all (as I said, I had very little with DS1), doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. I don't think there really is a "normal" for morning sickness, everybody's body reacts differently. Please try not to worry

PaulineCampbellJones · 03/07/2010 22:53

Mine didn't ease up til I had given birth. Throwing up was a little routine by then. Try not to worry, everyone is different.

about 11 weeks. Still get the odd nauseous moment when I'm really tired, hot or hungry! (currently 14+3)

Mine was all day nausea and evening sickness. I found lemon squash very useful

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 04/07/2010 08:53

With my 1st pregnancy I vomited at 11am, like clockwork every morning for 16 weeks, then I just felt sick if I became hungry.

I'm currently pregnant with DC2 and at 9 weeks I havn't found it as bad as last time although I have vomited on occasion but it feels like it is tailing off now. I feel like the nausea is more spread out over the day this time and get a bit sick late afternoon and evening as well as first thing.

cinnamongreyhound · 04/07/2010 12:24

Mine stopped at exactly 13 weeks first time around but was sick a few times and constantly through labour

This time it reduced around 16 weeks but have been sick regularly (once or twice a week) since. I just don't seem to digest food very quickly and hours after I've eaten it, it's still there and then when I'm very active or when I lay down I bring it back up am 32 weeks now.

Everyone is so different, my best friend was sick for 8 months of her first pregnancy

bibbitybobbityhat · 04/07/2010 12:31

I felt nauseous all the way through both my pregnancies but fortunately didn't vomit at all. Actually, I am not programmed to vomit (emetophobic) so I guess most people would have vomited at the level of nausea I put up with.

It was worse with dd. With ds the nausea did begin to ease off by about 18 weeks.

daisystone · 04/07/2010 14:25

Mine went between 13-14 weeks. I had been suffering really really badly and was convinced I would never feel well again!

I can't tell you how much better I feel now - it is a miracle.

tulipgrower · 04/07/2010 20:45

first pregnancy: 14 weeks (mostly only mornings, but did include vomiting)

current pregnancy: 16 weeks (all day, no vomiting, (but often felt I would))

Ate my way through millions of crackers, drank ginger tea and avoided coffee, spicy food, ..., not convinced anything really helped.

Now at 18wks, brushing my back teeth still makes me gag, but otherwise I feel a zillion times better.

PickleSarnie · 04/07/2010 21:06

Mine went at about 10 weeks. I panicked and thought something had gone wrong. Wish I had just made the most of feeling human instead of worrying because it returned with a vengeance a week later and didn't disappear until week 16.

addie81 · 04/07/2010 21:31

mine lasted till 20 weeks.

tartyhighheels · 04/07/2010 21:38
