Just called NHS Direct, waiting for them to call me back, could be two hours.

I'm 6+4, and this evening I felt chills/shivers and thought that I must be coming down with something and had a lie down. Just took my temperature about 15 minutes ago and it measures 38.1C (100.58F). Mind you the house is very warm with this warm weather we're having!

Should I wait or take some paracetemol now? Anyy ideas? I'm taking sips of water to stay hydrated.

Thanks jjkm, I called my GP's out of hours service who told me to go to A&E. Apparently I don't have a UTI but a red throat though it's not sore and I don't have other cold symptoms So, I've been told to keep an eye on my temperature and take paracetamol today.
