At how many number of weeks did you stop windsurfing?

I'm not a windsurfer, I'm a kayaker, but was advised to stop immediately because of the risk of bugs in the water (esp on the polluted river where i paddle most often). I was gutted

I'm not a windsurfer either but common sense would tell me not to do it at any stage in pregnancy!

I'm not a windsurfer, but I do enjoy surfing, which I am still doing, altho I'm only just into my second trimester. I found an Aussie website specifically for surfing mums and mums to be, and it was very encouraging - one mum kept surfing in competitions well into her 7th month! They did suggest not learning to surf while pg, and to be sensible and know your limits. And pointed out that your centre of gravity changed so your skill level might drop.

I suppose you've got loads more kit with windurfing to watch out for than surfing what with the boom etc. There must be something on line, some sort of club. I guess it depends on your level, how often you do it (I try to get in the water 2/3 times a week), and your enjoyment. Its good exercise, plus it makes me feel good, and I'll be really upset when I'm too weeble like to stay on the board!
