Hi all,
A friend of mine has just had her 12 wk scan. We are due around the same time but she has spent 3 yrs TTC her second. In that time she has had 3 miscarriages. The scan today showed a lot of fluid around the head and body. They have been referred to a consultant tomorrow and told there is a high risk of abnormalities. Have any of you been in this situation and what outcomes did you have? I feel so desperately sad for her as I know she is going to be devastated.
