What do I want putting on the note?

Been off for 2 months with BP/meds problems. They have left me totally unfit and I tire easily. Work will have me back on office work so nothing strenuous but I'm starting to worry about whether I'm up to it now.

I want to go back as I'm going stircrazy at home and need occupying. I will only have approx 6 weeks before Mat leave and have just dropped to half pay so don't really want too much time off whilst on that!

Meeting at work tomorrow to discuss what duties I will/won't be doing but they sound quite negociable. BAsically I will be doing a lot of handovers to other staff (they don't get cover for me) and winding up the projects I was doing.

Forgot to say I work 2.5 days and can choose my days around what work I have on.

I also have some travelling (split site job , main offics is approx 30min and other is approx 1hr)

I have some concerns about the heat as this has been making me worse and my office gets particularly hot even with the air con/fans.

Is it worth me having phased return/shortened days anyone?

you get the doctor to write that you are fit for minor duties but you need extra breaks etc.
Speak to your boss, and say youre really grateful theyve put you on office work, and you hope they understand that you find things difficult and tiring. Theyll understand. If they dont, you take it as it comes, then start mat leave early if you cant cope with what they expect you to do.

Good luck x

Thanks, extra breaks is a good thing to put in as we don't get proper ones normally.
