Maternity Bra

Hello, what good maternity bras can people recommend?

Just read A Bravissimo related thread and it reminded me.

I tried a few out after a crap fitting and they made me look like the front cover of national geographic. I could have swept the floor with my tits as I walked along...

Any advice?

I liked Anita bras while pregnant, though I'm far from being a D-KK (Bravissimo) size .

debenhams go up to a G cup, surprisingly supportive too.

ive bought loads of maternity bras but being a h cup find that however supportive they are ment to be they just flop and hurt - the final straw was when i got a rash under my boobs where they rubbed so much on the skin underneath and cus alot of them are lacy my nipples wer sore aswel (sorry prob tmi) ive decided to go back to my usual padded type underwired bras which i know are not recomended but i persavered for about 15 weeks with the maternity ones and actually cried when i put an underwired one on cus it was so comfy and they actually looked like boobs and didnt sag and they havent hurt since - if it messes up my chance of brest feeding so be it cus i really have tried but was just so uncomfortable ud never believe it- ive had no probs with rashes nipples or pain since going back to the padded underwired style.

I have Royce bras from Bravissimo. They're not the most attractive and they're annoyingly high cut, but they give me a good shape, they're comfortable and I no longer get back and shoulder pain from my FF cup boobs (was a C pre-pregnancy!), which I did in a badly fitting, unsupportive bra from Mothercare. Bravissimo is definitely worth it IMO.

I've stuck with my regular bras, like you, I find the maternity ones offer no support. I just took a whole stack into changing rooms and made sure they fitted well onto ribs and didn't dig into breast tissue at all.

I have no idea what I am going to do re nursing bras - (I am presently F cup!)

Fwiw, my bras are soft cup, which is all that is special about maternity bras!
