Too soon to feel the baby?

I'm 9+4, and I can feel something moving
I'm 99% sure that this is far too early to feel anything at all, and it's probably just some sort of muscle twitchy thing. Thi swill be DC4, so I really should know better, but it feels suspiciously baby-like.

What's the earliest that I could feel anything?

it's probably wind....

PlasticCenturion · 29/06/2010 19:55

It's wind.

Hevster · 29/06/2010 20:06

i was feeling real movement at 14 weeks this time but not before - it surprised me as dd1 was 24 weeks before I felt anything

tutusare4 · 29/06/2010 20:08

Ah, OK, wind it must be
Tis a very odd feeling!

I felt this baby way before my twelve week scan, I would say at about ten and a half weeks, so I think it is possible

Hermya321 · 29/06/2010 22:21

I felt mine at around ten to eleven weeks, it wasn't like anything I'd ever felt before or since. It was like fizzing in my lower abdomen and I wasn't at all windy at the time. Considering it's your fourth child, I'd say why the hell not?

LittleSilver · 29/06/2010 22:24

Yeah, I'd agree with Hermya. it's your 4th, I imagine you know what it feels like

CardyMow · 30/06/2010 13:31

This is my 4th dc, and I'm 11+3 today, and Today is the first day I have definately felt movement. But then I felt my DD (first pg) at 14+4, which is very early for a first, so I've heard. I thought I felt something last night in bed, but today it is definately baby. Feels like someone 'flicking' the inside of me, just above my pelvic bone.

tutusare4 · 30/06/2010 13:38

I'm still feeling weird movements - doesn't feel like any wind I've ever experienced, although I'm still open to that suggestion

It feels like an internal flicking, but is higher up than I'd expect it to be at this stage, so I'm not convinced, but I still don't know what it is!

sedgiebaby · 30/06/2010 17:47

PBI 14 wks 4 days pregnant

RobynLou · 30/06/2010 19:48

there's all sorts of wierd things going on - things getting moved around and nudged out the way, but it might just be the baby I guess, as it's your 4th!

vmcd28 · 30/06/2010 21:09

Hmm, I'm not convinced. The baby is sooo tiny it must be impossible to feel yet, surely ?
This is my second, and I only felt it for sure at 17-4!
